The day of celebration was fabulous as everyone arrived in costumes and Aurora transformed into a child’s world of Halloween wonder. It took us a while to recognize who you were and which characters you were dressed as. You went for trick or treating, had a fun treasure hunt, a wonderful buffet lunch and finally to end the day a movie. It was a day of joy and delight for us all.

While discovering all about Halloween, the questions of giving and receiving were also asked, through tales of ‘trick or treating’. Throughout our lives, we give, share and receive many things, from big to small, young to old. Within our Aurora family and community, we know how important it is to give. All classes participated in creating gifts such as cookies, cards, pumpkin soup, bags, pictures for all of our support staff.

Thank you, children, for all the love you give to us. We hope that each day at school will always be your happy day.
