At Aurora, our educational philosophy is inspired by Reggio Emilia experience and New Zealand Curriculum (Te Whariki), which focuses on the knowledge-building process through different creative forms.

Through the project, children will become familiar with the environment and some teachers before the settle in as enrolled children in future years. Also, parents will have the opportunity to learn alongside their children through Reggio Emilia Experience and understand Te Whariki (New Zealand Curriculum) and principles of RIE Parenting. Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) is a parenting philosophy. The basic beliefs that guide RIE Parenting are defined by mutual respect, trust, and connection between parent and child. RIE aims to view your child as a unique human with their own identity, preferences, and desires.
